Jeff Sandwich

D.O.B. - 15th December, 1918

Home Town - Brooklyn, New York

Profession - Actor/Singer

Qualification - Born Ira Grossel, he chose Jeff Chandler for his stage name, but you could say that Jeff chose him. One of the most prolific western actors in early TV and cinema, Jeff made almost 50 film in just 14 years from 1947 to 1961. He received an Oscar nomination in 1950 for Broken Arrow, a year in which he made four other films and maintain a sucessful recording career. When Sammy Davis Jr. lost his eye in an accident and was in danger of losing the other, Jeff offered Sammy one of his own eyes for a transplant. Though he was not born a Jeff, he lived as a true Jeff and tragically died a Jeff on the 17th of June, 1961 aged just 42 from blood poisoning following an operation. Tony Curtis was a pallbearer at his funeral.

Jeff Centauri AKA Jeff Emralino

Loud Jeff

Profession - Stuntman

Qualification - Jeff was Sammo Hung's stunt double in Martial Law. He is a stuntman with, not one, but two Jeff-based names, that's dedication. It warms my heart when a man, who is quite obviously a foreigner, has the choice of any English-sounding name in the world, and he chooses Jeff. To come up with a surname as badass as Centauri is an added bonus. Even Jackie Chan was impressed.
