D.O.B. - 10th August, 1914
Home Town - Brooklyn, New York
Profession - Actor/Director
Qualification - Another competitor for first Jeff in showbiz, Jeff started acting in 1939. After being blacklisted in the 1950's for refusing to name names on un-american activities (Jeff's just don't squeal), he turned his talents to teaching and the list of his alumni reads like a who's who of acting. James Dean, Peter Fonda, Robin Williams and Jack Nicholson were will students to name just a few. Post McCarthy, he appeared memorably as Sheriff Bledsoe in Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid and, more recently, gave his voice to Silvermane in the Spider-man cartoon series. In directing, Jeff is best known for his stints on the TV series Alias Smith and Jones. Jeff tragically died following a fall in his Californian home on 16th August, 2002.
